About Course

This course is the fourth in the series and will prepare you for the NCLEX-RN exam by focusing on several critical areas of nursing. This month, we’ll cover pharmacological and parenteral therapies, the immune system, the nervous system (neuro), and the eye and ear systems. We will also revisit passing strategies to ensure your test-taking skills are continually refined

What Will You Learn?

  • Administer medications and parenteral therapies safely and accurately, and identify the nursing considerations associated with various drug classes.
  • Explain the function of the immune system and apply nursing interventions for clients with immune disorders.
  • Assess and manage clients with neurological disorders.
  • Identify the anatomy, physiology, and common disorders of the eye and ear.
  • Refine your test-taking skills and apply passing strategies to improve your score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
  • Differentiate between various pharmacological therapies and their indications.
  • Prioritize care for clients with complex neurological conditions.
  • Outline patient education strategies for common eye and ear disorders.
  • Interpret lab values related to immune system function.

Course Content

Module (Week) 1: Pharmacological and Parenteral Therapies

Module (Week) 2: Immune System

Module (Week) 3: Neuro (Nervous System)
Topics: This module focuses on the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system and the nursing management of clients with various neurological conditions. Syllabus Reference: NCLEX-RN SYLLABUS PLAN, Week 9.

Module (Week) 4: Eye and Ear
Topics: You will learn about the anatomy and physiology of the eye and ear and the nursing care for clients with common eye and ear disorders. Syllabus Reference: NCLEX-RN SYLLABUS PLAN, Week 11.
